Lee Jin Woo is a painter from South Korea, he lives in Paris for 10 years.
His paintings is like a lengthy walk through memories. He absorbs the chaos and transform it un wisdom and calmness.
Soil, ink, coal, pigments come across on a bamboo paper sometimes burned or torn. Its surface is impenetrable and transparent.
His large works using natural pigments is evidence of permanence of Korean tradition.
